I don’t know what it is about summer, but there’s something about those three short months that inspire a feeling of nostalgia within me. Sometimes that’s remembering childhood summers in the 2000’s, when KT Tunstall’s Suddenly I See and Gabriella Climi’s Sweet About Me were in the charts. Other times it’s the hazy-edged memories of hot summer days when school holidays seemed endless. Whatever the memory, I always find myself looking back during summer, sometimes even further back than my childhood.

This probably isn’t helped by the fact my summer playlist is very often injected with 60’s and 70’s hits, not least including Summer in the City and the Beatles’ classic Here Comes the Sun. Naturally, this inspired me down the rabbit hole of spending too many hours on Pinterest, enjoying pictures of summer from some of my favourite decades for style. Here are a few I found:
